Spirals is an industry-leading, western owned hair salon located in Jumeirah Village Circle, Dubai. Founded by UK-born Helen, who has been in Dubai for over 15 years and has a true passion for beauty at the highest standards and best prices which reflects in her salon and the extensive range of services on offer.
Expert haircuts, colours, treatments and hair extensions are carried out by an experienced team of professional British stylists who listen to clients’ needs and complement their requirements with their own expert advice.
Spirals uses only the best salon professional products including Matrix, Wella, L’Oral, Schwarzkopf, Olaplex, GHD, Cloud Nine and Kerastraight, ensuring the best quality service for each client whilst still maintaining highly competitive prices.
HELEN DEIKI - OWNER 🇬🇧
Hi guys, I'm Helen originally from London, UK, but living in the Middle East for nearly 20 years. I love all things beauty but hated the "Dubai Prices" queue Spirals being born and my ethos..."good hair at real prices"!
Many people think I'm a hairdresser, but I'm not, I'm originally a nail technician specializing in the dipping powder technique. I pride myself on Spirals customer service and all our clients know they can contact me any time.
My world is different today, I'm married with 2 beautiful kids, who take up most of my time when I'm not working a corporate job and running 2 businesses whilst taking care of 4 French Bulldogs.
When I'm not focusing on all of that, I love to travel with my family, cook, read and generally try to recover from the hectic life we lead. My guilty pleasure is coffee which as you can imagine to keep up with it all I need a lot of!

Hi I'm Joanna, I’m from Essex and I’ve been hairdressing for 33 years or more give or take!
i joined Spirals having recently relocated to Dubai and deciding to follow my dream.
When im not on the salon floor i love to read, go to the beach and meeting new people.
\nWhen on the salon floor i wouldnt say i have a favourite service, i just love to make people happy with the hair of their dreams. I love doing hair-up and being creative and ready for any challenge.
Im looking forward to meeting all of my clients and enjoying a nice cup of tea and a chat.
Deborah Mann - Stylist | 🇬🇧
Hi, I’m Deborah from Newcastle, England. I’ve been in the hair industry for 37 years and have spent the last 23 of them here in Dubai.
My specialties are blonde coloring, creative coloring, and cutting short hair—I love helping clients find styles that suit them perfectly. I’ve worked all over, including on cruise ships, which was such a great experience.
Outside of the salon, I enjoy making my own clothes and crocheting bags—it’s a creative outlet I really enjoy. I’m passionate about what I do and look forward to creating a look you’ll love!
Bridey Killick | Stylist 🇬🇧
Hi, I’m Bridey, a hairdresser from England and the newest member of the Spirals team! I moved to Dubai in October 2024 and am excited to bring my passion for hair to a new city.
I’ve been in the hair industry since I was 15 and am now newly qualified at 20. I’m a confident stylist, especially when it comes to blow drying, coloring, and styling—all for all hair types. One of my favorite things to do is hair extensions, including weaves, tapes, and nanos, as I love the transformation they bring.
I’m always eager to learn and grow in my craft, and I genuinely enjoy meeting new people, which makes my job even more rewarding. With such a busy and social work life, I like to spend my weekends unwinding—whether that’s at the gym, with family and friends, or indulging in a bit of self-care. Looking forward to welcoming you to my chair! 🥰
Prisca Agutu - Salon Assistant and Hair Wash Guru | 🇰🇪
Hi, I’m Prisca Agutu, originally from Kenya and I’ve been working as a salon assistant in the UAE for six years.
I really enjoy helping with hair treatments, especially giving a good hair wash with a relaxing massage, blow drying, and coloring roots. I love making sure clients feel comfortable and happy during their visit. When I’m not at work, I like to stay indoors and catch up on sleep—it’s my little way of recharging.
